If you are in this situation, then think hard about changing it. If you have a job that requires you to relocate often, this is a major financial burden. To be fair, your employer should offer to pay your expenses to sell a home and buy another. Otherwise, the employer should give you such a high salary that you do not need to own a home to get rich.
If you find yourself changing jobs every few years, then try to relocate to a big enough city so that subsequent jobs can be found in the same city.
