Some People Must Move to New Cities Every Few Years

If you are in this situation, then think hard about changing it. If you have a job that requires you to relocate often, this is a major financial burden. To be fair, your employer should offer to pay your expenses to sell a home and buy another. Otherwise, the employer should give you such a high salary that you do not need to own a home to get rich.

If you find yourself changing jobs every few years, then try to relocate to a big enough city so that subsequent jobs can be found in the same city.

If none of the above suggestions apply to you, then consider taking a more stable job at the same pay. In my previous web page, buying a home saves you $4572 each year. This is like getting a $6350 pay raise [$4572/(1-0.28 tax bracket)].
